History

The Brunstone Avalanche existence is as a direct result of the demise of the Camelot Sentry expansion franchise granted to the town of Camelot by the PopularFreedom Rugby League in 2005. Organizers of the Sentry expansion team, unhappy with the way their franchise was given instead to Locke Harbour South, worked tirelessly throughout the latter part of 2005 to organize themselves, the Sacredicity Saints, and the Brunstone Avalanche into a group of rugby teams which got together with other rugby nations to form the Rugby Premier League.
