Bruxen City was one of the newer clubs in the QFL as they started play beginning in 1901. The Pirates as they were known had black and red uniforms. The main rival was Cuex City, and matches against Bruxen AC divided the city on matchdays. The team had not been very successful so far, being the only team in the QFL not to have been promoted. Though the team is bad, the fans are among the best routinely selling out Ox-Cola Field with a seating capacity of 66,152. In 1912, the club earned promotion for the 1st time, beating rival Cuex City 4-3 in a playoff for the promotion. The team folded during the 1915-19 layoff.
