Carpathian Global is a greatly influential multinational corporation and private equity firm who's reach expands beyond all borders and from pole to pole. It was started by the Sutler, Fischer, Hastings, Knight, and Harris families in Germany before World War II. Since then, it has grown to be one of - if not the - most powerful private corporation in existence. With a combination of superior finances and ruthless efficiency, Carpathian Global have been able to maneuver into the governments of various countries; cause hostile takeovers; and some suspect, even murder to get their way.

Carpathian Global is an "umbrella corporation" to the core. Expanding across the globe, they have a virtual monopoly on diamond mining, uranium enrichment, biotechnology, and oil refining. This has caused many controversies and grievances filings which usual result in out-of-court settlements or refusal of defendants to attend the court decisions.

History

Carpathian Global was started by Conrad Sutler - relative of Vincent Sutler - and several others. Since its creation, several groups and fund families have joined the firm in an attempt to "obtain slices of the multi-billion dollar pie." At the time of it founding, Carpathian Global was simply known as Sutler's. Instead of an equity firm, Sutler's was a quickly successful real estate agency around the Black Forest of Germany. Before World War II, the company was brought into the public eye when members of the Prussian and Weimar governments used the agency to fin profitable an resource-filled tracks of land to be used for military bases across Germany. Since this period in history, Carpathian Global has been acting heavily with governments and organizations - mostly involving the military.

In 1920, the company moved to Berlin as one of the largest and most-successful real estate corporations in the region - even during and after World War I. However, with the rise as Adolf Hitler, the new Carpathian Corporation would fall under relatively hard times. Due to the nature of many of the founding families being Jewish, the company was nearly forced out of business; however, using funds from the company, the Carpathian Corporation was able to bribe leading Nazi officials in order to keep their families alive and their company in business. Carpathian Inc. eventually became a leading reclaimed land company, selling former Jewish properties to Nazi officials. Since then, some have speculated that the political ideals of the elite of Carpathian Global are fascist or authoritarian capitalist.

After World War II, the Carpathian Corporation became a leader in real estate and accounting in Europe. Eventually, in 1956, Carpathian Inc. became a multinational corporation by opening a subsidiary division in the United Kingdom. This advancement beyond borders would be the first step to total market control of many of the field Carpathian Global operates. This advancement during the 1940s and 1950s led to many watchdog groups within both the Eastern and Western Bloc's to attempt to open investigations into Carpathian Global's corporate operations, but all attempts failed and were denied by international court tribunals. Many suspect that Carpathian operatives were able to infiltrate the judicial systems of the time and either bribe or extort judicial officials; however, no investigations into the matter have yet to become underway.

In the 1980s, Carpathian Global advanced their markets into equity finances and became the first multinational mega-corporation to also be an equity firm. This economic expansion also allowed for Carpathian Global to expand beyond simple real estate, finances, and manufacturing to mining, industrial planning, research and development, and hundreds of other fields which currently operate under the Carpathian globe.

Since the 1980s, Carpathian Global has steadily grown in size and influence. No longer is Carpathian management content with the economic advancement of their corporation and the gaining of massive amounts of wealth; but Carpathian Global has also began branching into politics and government. Most notably is the CEO of the Carpathian affiliate, TriPetal, being the governor of the Zairean province of Uganda. Carpathian Global's and TriPetal's close relationship has allowed to corporate product testing to ensue on volunteers in Zaïre and other Central and South African nations.

The constant expansion and technological advancement of Carpathian Global has caused fear amongst other corporations and nations - a fear not unfounded. In 2000, the nation of Zaïre suffered a massive outbreak of an unknown pathogen which caused the death of over 600,000 people. A week before infections began, the mining corporation known as Gécamines had refused to commit to close affiliation with Carpathian Global. Many suspect that this massive outbreak was the result of corporate terrorism on the part of Carpathian Global to force Gécamines into an affiliation. It is unclear whether this is true; but in early 2001, Gécamines became an affiliate of Carpathian Global.

Controversy

Since 1935, Carpathian Global has suffered several bouts of controversy ranging from conspiring to commit homicide to supporting right-wing political factions. Many of these controversies are the result of Internet-based gossip and tabloid rumors based on mingled facts; however, some do seem to have factual basis and many have resulted in failed attempts to conduct investigations.

In 1939, Carpathian Corporation was accused to supporting the German National Socialist Workers' Party in an attempt to save their corporation and their lives due to many of the leading families being of Jewish descent. It was later proven that C.C. did in fact bribe and/or extort Nazi officials; however, it is unknown to what extent Nazi influence reached in the corporate hierarchy.

In 1977, Carpathian Global was accused of corporate espionage on the Soviet nationalized corporations of Mikoyan and Suhkoi. Now subsidiaries of Carpathian Global, the two design bureaus were said to be infiltrated by Carpathian operatives in order to smuggle out designs for aircraft and aeronautical designs for weaponry - such as surface-to-air missiles and interceptor technology.

In 1995, Carpathian Global was accused of several counts of homicide after the watchdog group Clone Watch attempted to expose video-tapes of medical and biotech experiments having to do with human cloning. The leading members of Clone Watch were found dead and dismembered in their British apartment on March 7, 1995. Many still suspect that it was a result of the mysterious Global Operations Division's actions ordered by the upper echelon of Carpathian Global.

In 2000, Carpathian Global was accused to biological terrorism when an outbreak of an unknown disease occurred in Zaïre after failed affiliation talks between Carpathian Global and Gécamines mining corporation. Over 600,000 people were killed from the unknown outbreak and over 1.7 million were paralyzed or immobilized from their infection forwards. In early 2001, Gécamines became a close affiliate of Carpathian Global.

Management

Carpathian Global - mostly due to its size - operates under a three tier hierarchy. Management is separated into administrative divisions, divisions, and departments. However, one should note, the administrative divisions often operate autonomously of the lower separations of the departmentalized corporation. This is allowed to create an efficient, yet well controlled corporation.

Each administrative division operates autonomously under the day-to-day operative advisory council known as the Executive Board. The Executive Board operates under the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is entirely composed of family members of the original founding families: Sutler, Knight, Fischer, Hastings, Kampenk, Zelle, Slabach, Lutze, Zahn, and Henley. For this reason, Carpathian Global remains a highly-secretive, private enterprise capable of securing itself into total isolation if necessary.

Divisions

Corporate divisions are separated by their purpose (aerospace, biotechnology, etc.). Each division is made up of departments ranging from design to research and development. The following is a complete list of divisions of Carpathian Global.

Economics

Carpathain Global earned approximalty 900 billion U.S. dollars in 2005, breaking several annual earning records. This has placed Carpathian Global at the top of the commercial ladder. For these reason, C.G. is the target of corporate espionage, attempted leverage takeovers, and other means of commercial and economic warfare. Yet, C.G. is not without her own teeth. In 2003, Carpathian Global became the record holding for most corporations taken or bought in the history of modern economics. This record was preciously held by Time Warner with twenty hostile takeovers in a single year. Carpathian Global now holds the record at 179 takeovers or buyouts.

Along with their massive size, Carpathian Global is also known to pay their workers well compared to other corporations. The average annual income for a skilled laborer is $39,000 USD annually (unskilled laborers making between $10,000 and $25,000 annually). This is accomplished through sheer size and economic stability. Due mostly to their enormous annual earnings, it allows Carpathian the ability to keep their workers content and happy while employed.

Military

Along with their economic clout, Carpathian Global also boasts a large military and security force under the direction of Paul Zahn (Executive Officer of Corporate Security). This remains one of the few corporations to house its own security force and military force. Composed of mercenaries and career soldiers, the massive force is said to have between 900,000 and 2.9 million soldiers at any given moment (not accounting for logistics and not a proven estimate). This also has caused controversy around the world.

Nations and corporations alike fear that a commercial entity able to have a military is too dangerous to remain functioning. Since the military forces are only required to be loyal to the corporation and not their country, this is suspected to cause detrimental harm to national security around the world. Several watchdog organizations and the United Nations has attempted to shut down the military force, but both have failed.
