Born on the Helghast Colony, Cetanu Guan'thwei (literal translation-God of Death, Blood of the Night) quickly distinguished himself as a fantastic soldier. He is avowedly atheist and communist in his beliefs. After saving the old Lord Marshall Franz Cabra, Cetanu became the Colonial Lord Marshall. He was responsible for the alliance with the Toukon Ryu Dynasty and the colonistaion of the 2 planets, Toukon and Morvalion. He joined the Kroenen Occultist Society at the age of 35. He became good friends with Kroenen and hired him as his top scientist and assassin. He alo put Kroenen in charge of the newly formed colony on Morvalion, known as the Kroenen Followers.
Rebirth
2 years after joining the Kroenen Occultist Society, Cetanu was involved in a lab accident. For 5 years he was missing, no trace of his body was found. The Colonists blamed Kroenen for his disappearance, and were on the brink of war. Then, just as the siege ships were about to leave for Morvalion, Kroenen came to the Imperial Palace, with a cloaked figure whos face was hidden. Somehow they gained access to the inner sanctuary, where the colonial generals were assmebled. The cloaked figure spoke: "I am Cetanu. I live."
Naturally, the generals were very skeptical. Kroenen had appeared mere hours before his nation was to be destroyed with a cloaked man claiming to be Cetanu. An obvious attempt at preventing the war! Then the figure spoke again. "You do not believe me. After the multiple experiments I went through to prevent my death. To become immortal. I had expected more from you. Let me show you." The figure walked to the side of the room, to the secret bunker entrance. "If I am who I say I am, this door will open. It does not need to see me, or sample my blood. It will merely know." The generals nodded. They knew only Cetanu could open the door, he had a strange mutation, which the scanners would detect and open the door. The generals waited. Then the door opened. "I am Cetanu, I live."
Cetanu is no longer human. His occult experiments have turned him into something else. He is not even a Colonist. What he is, not even he himself knows. All he knows is that he cannot die, and that he will live forever
