continentflag23nw.jpg

Chirachi (formerly known as "Sklyrachy") is one of the two Autonomous Communities of Yuunli. It makes up 15% of Yuunli's population, and 17% of its area.

The capital of Chirachi is Kiprechn in the Tameza province.

The flag of Chirachi is green for the nature on the main plateau. The white color on the sides stands for the mountains in the west and east.

Geography

Chirachi is located in the north of the IDU landmass. It borders the Democratic Federation of Grosseschnauzer in the north, the People's Republic of Flankia in the east, the Gemeinschaft of Sober Thought in the south, and the Interstellar Federation of DataGenesis in the west.

The total area of Chirachi is 780.629 km² (301,531 square miles).

The following map (which shows both Mich-Inzl and Chirachi), rivers are blue and provincial borders are red, unless they are marked by rivers.

Religions

Religious affiliation is not asked in a census, that's why only estimates exist.

It is estimated that 65% of the Chirachians are strigidists (92% of them traditionalists, 8% modernists), 32% atheists and only 3% follow other religions.

For more information about strigidist beliefs, see Strigidism.

License plates

License plates in Sklyrachy are green with white characters. The first character indicates the province:

  • B Poishbiezn
  • K Kasua
  • L Lankoin
  • P Pinkeba
  • T Tameza

The rest is a serial number. The color of the star indicates the year of the next compulsory security check.

National security (police, ambulances, fire fighters) have yellow plates with black characters, and the letter Z for "Zihahoit" (Security).

Diplomats have white plates with black characters, CD for "corps diplomatique" or CC for "corps consulaire", and a code representing the country of origin (two letters for IDU countries).

Elections

Executive

The members of the Executive Council are elected by majority vote. The most important posts are the chair (moderating when there are conflicts) and finances (managing the budget).

Results of the 2005-09-28 elections:

  • Chairman of the Executive Council: Peta Fuizpuaka (FCP)
  • Councilor for Finances: Bero Uiman (FCP)
  • Councilor for National Security: Champo Kuufna (FCP)
  • Councilor for Infrastructure: Sapien Hoima (FCP)
  • Councilor for Environment Protection: Aleana Ticha (SLL)
  • Councilor for International Relations: Peyaat Naiman (FCP)

Legislature

The number of seats in parliament corresponds to the rounded percentage of votes a party received. Only parties with at least 1% of the votes enter parliament.
If the sum does not add up to 100, the biggest faction gets the remaining seats.
If the sum is more than 100, the smallest factions lose seats.

Results of the 2005-09-25 elections (compared to those of 2005-08-09):

The provincial representatives are unlikely to veto SLL and FCP decisions.
