The Dictatorship of Collania is a very large, devout nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 182 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Defence, although Religion & Spirituality and Law & Order are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 60%, and even higher for the wealthy. A large private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Protesters are up in arms over new nuclear power stations, copyright laws have been abolished, crooks and people with too many kids are being kicked out of the country, and the nation has recently been attributed to the funding of terrorist organisations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force.
