The Colonial Warbirds are the pinnacle of Helghan Colonial Force's space Assault designs. Designed by the UltraCorp Weapons Company, the Warbirds come in 5 classifications and are now being produced by state controlled factories and factories of the Colonial Army Corporation. The Assault Vessels main weakness was that of armour and shielding. UltraCorp had dsigned them around the same principles of the Ground Forces, speed and firepower. Due to this lack of defensive ability, many Assault Vessels lose in battles of attrition, although accounting for a heavy toll on enemy craft. Nonetheless, Cetanu Guan'thwei ordered UltraCorp to design a new type of Starship. And thus the Warbirds were brought into being. The Colonial Flagship is a Warbird, such is their combat ability. While still not as strong as Armada Command Ship, Warbirds are becoming the mainstay attack vessel in the Offensive Armada, and new designs are being drawn up for the Defensive Armada. So far there is 6 different Warbird designs, 2 defensive ones (not planned to replace Planetary Defence Vessel, but rather add on to the fleet), 3 Offensive ones (Fully operational, slowly replacing Planetary Assault Vessel as main battleship) and the Flagship. Warbirds are also far cheaper to manufacture than an Assault Vessel, and smaller, so are not as terrifying, nor powerful overall (as they have less weapons and only Primary Shielding), but due to their low cost are the mainstay ship of any Colonial Armada.

Offensive Warbirds

The Offensive Warbirds have less armour than their defensive counterparts, but have much greater speed.

Warbird Necron-This Warbird specialises in speed, and is the smallest and least well armoured of all Warbirds, but its speed makes it a useful ship non-the-less.

Warbird Phantom-A Stealth ship, used to sneak up on enemies and scare them as well as distract them from the main battle force.

Warbird Executor-The All round attack vessel and most common Warbird.

Defensive Warbirds

What defensive Warbirds lack in speed they make up for in armour and firepower.

Warbird Guardian-The most common Warbird in the defensive Armada.

Warbird Praetorian-A very uncommon Warbird, very little of them have made it into the Defensive Armada. Very powerful Weaponry and shielding, and the same speed as the Warbird Executor. Usually seen as escorts to the Flagship.

Flagship

Warbird Cetanu-The Flagship of the Colonial Armada and Cetanu's personal ship. Extremely well armed and armoured, with excellent speed.
