Combiner 1

The Combiner 1 is an LMG that can use 1 to 3 magazines at time, making it very popular for people involved in large firefights. Most of the gun is an altered M249 Minimi, but with a rail on the bottom that the magazines snap onto. This allows the magazine to move freely along the entire length of the barrel, but locks into place at the intake port. There is a spring rod located at the front end of the rail that pushes all magazines connected to the rail toward the trigger assembly. When the user expends the 250 5.56 NATO rounds in the active box magazine, he pulls it out and drops it beside him. The spring rod pushes the next magazine into place and the user can immediately restart shooting. This entire process takes ≈1 second. The sight is the traditional ProtoWeapons open sight with a laser pointer below it.
