History
Communism International is the newest military and economic alliance in the PEEL Region. The treaty, called "CommIntern" for short was founded in 2059 by Yugopatomia and it's close allies after a major controversy in the COMECON, which they were members of. After numerous disagreements about how it should be run, they left the COMECON to form a new alliance, one which would return the concept of Communism to it's prime, which had stagnated in the period following the Dominion Wars.
The alliance is comprised of nations regarded to be much more extreme in their far-left political beliefs, and are often brash and stubborn in their international relations.
In statements made after the founding, Premier Whoopwhoopwhoop of Yugopatomia, the leader of the alliance, it was made clear that one of CommIntern's main goals was to help spread the influence of communism throughout PEEL, mainly through the export of national liberation and revolution, which instantly worried many democracies and capitalist nations to the threat of communist agents inciting revolt.
Only time will tell if this philosophy will come to fruition...
