Commonality Space Force (CSF)

The Commonality Space Force is the space-division of the Iluvauromeni Commonality Crown Guard.

The CSF is known for it's preference for deep stand-off assaults, lightning raids, and the use of long-range kinetic kill missiles. The Commonality Space Force has never been conclusively defeated in battle, despite significant weaknesses in it's deployed craft.

Commonality warships recently underwent significant upgrades to their systems, bringing them into the 'modern' age. They now sport primitive shielding systems capable of warding off attack from particle weapons for several minutes, providing enough time for escape. However, many classes of ship required downgrading of existing defensive systems to provide the energy required for the shielding, thus lowering their total defensive ability against missiles. This does not apply to the larger/newer classes of vessel, or those fitted with the new microfusion/fusion feeder reactors.

The CSF has it's own in-house research and development division; it also generally produces it's own munitions, submunitions, and general hardware. The only two economic entities to win a contract from the CSF are IsnCo and Rivette MI Corporation.

The CSF is twinned with the VESF, which is a detachment of the CSF under seperate command.

Prominent classes include: Glorious Eagle (Deep Stand-off Assault II), Retribution (Deep Stand-off Assault I), Tyelca Tuo (Pocket Cruiser).
