Introduction and a brief history (English)

In the beginnings of 2006, some listeners of "La Rosa de los Vientos", a spanish late night radio program, broadcasted by Onda Cero [2], and also users of a freak forum in the web page www.rosavientos.tk [3], joined their Nations in a new Region called Comunidad Unida Rosaventera or CUR. Apparently, the region is peaceful and innocent, but its deepest purpose is dominate the entire World and spread the audience of "La Rosa de los Vientos" all over the nations.

Cultural overview

Although the diferent states that form the region have its owns interest and ways of life, in general they have common likes: mistery, science, history, environmental protection, music, books, films and all about culture.

The traditional sports in the CUR are political discussions and trolling.

It's folk music consists of monotons melodies produced by one flute of four holes, and they use their nose, to made the flute sound.

They have certain liking by a sport called Radio Patio, where discussions of any type in reduced surroundings stay. Usually they are of up to 8 participants everyone more crazy person than the previous one.

In spite of not having a unique national suit, the typical clothes of the different States includes, in all the cases, the socks of high neck. The inhabitants of some countries also shine, and only in the holidays, beautiful wigs made with pelusas that are gathering by the houses. This peculiar custom, well-known with the name of "pelusing", scrupulously is maintained by all the generations that are hoarding pelusas with an almost religious devotion.

These States have a great variety of popular celebrations, depending on the region and the moment of the year, but most important and universal is the Ul-in Tobopobo.It's the Great Celebration that is celebrated in no day in concrete and commemorates nothing in special. It's originality consists of being an almost unexpected celebration, in special in which it talks about at the time of his celebration that can be almost any day and even several to the year. But there is a series of acts that all celebration of Ul-in Tobopobo includes:

- Parade of cowboys dressed frogs, that commemorates the battle of the Guadalito.

En los comienzos de 2006, algunos de los oyentes de "La Rosa de los Vientos", un programa nocturno de radio, emitido por Onda Cero [5], y además visitantes asíduos de un foro friki y extraño en la página web www.rosavientos.tk [6], unieron sus Naciones en una nueva Región llamada Comunidad Unida Rosaventera, o CUR. A primera vista, la region es pacífica e inocente, pero su propósito secreto es dominar el Mundo por completo y difundir la audiencia de "La Rosa de los Vientos" a lo largo de todas las naciones.

Resumen Cultural

Aunque los diferentes estados que conforman la región tienen sus propios intereses y formas de vida, en general tienen gustos comunes: misterio, ciencia, historia, protección medioambiental, música, libros y cualquier otra forma de cultura.

Los deportes tradicionales en la CUR son las discusiones políticas y el troleo.

Su música tradicional consiste en unas monótonas melodías producidas por una flauta de cuatro agujeros y medio que se hace sonar con la nariz.

Tienen cierta afición por un deporte llamado radio patio donde se mantienen discusiones de cualquier tipo en un entorno reducido. Suelen ser de hasta 8 participantes cada cual más loco que el anterior.

A pesar de no haber un traje nacional único, la vestimenta típica de los diferentes Estados incluye, en todos los casos, los calcetines de cuello alto. Los habitantes de algunos países lucen asimismo, y sólo en los días de fiesta, unas hermosas pelucas confeccionadas con las pelusas que van recogiendo por las casas. Esta curiosa costumbre, conocida con el nombre de "pelusing", es escrupulosamente mantenida por todas las generaciones que van atesorando las pelusas con una devoción casi religiosa.

Estos Estados tienen una gran variedad de fiestas populares, dependiendo de la región y la época del año, pero la más importante y universal es la Gran Fiesta del Ul-in Tobopobo que se celebra en ningún día en concreto y conmemora nada en especial. Su originalidad consiste en ser una fiesta casi improvisada, en especial en lo que se refiere al momento de su celebración que puede ser casi cualquier día e incluso varios al año. Pero hay una serie de actos que toda fiesta del Ul-in Tobopobo incluye:

-Desfile de ranas vestidas de cowboys, que conmemora la batalla del Guadalito.

-Concurso de piñatas humanas, consiste en reventarle el cráneo a un insensato elegido por sorteo y al que, previamente, se le introducen caramelos por las orejas. Esta práctica, actualmente, es muy discutida por algunas facciones orientalistas y comedoras de escarola.

-Degustación de platos típicos como las pezuñas de ñu rellenas de compota de kiwi, pastelitos de piel de mandarina, helados de mejillón, gazpacho de maderas tropicales, o asado de okapi con salsa de humo.

-Bailes tradicionales al son de la música ya descrita y con la vestimenta típica ya descrita.

-El desregalador invisible, consiste en desregalar, quitar, cosas antes regaladas en otras festividades. Para ello las gentes se visten con un ceñido mono negro, pasamontañas y bate de beisbol y se dedican a allanar moradas ajenas y quedarse con lo que pillen, sea regalo o no. Fiesta también conocida como la del "saqueo feliz", en ella se hacen muchos amiguitos.

Enemigos

LA CUR es una región pacífica (al menos por el momento), pero sus miembros habitualmente no soportan a la SGAE (Sociedad General de Autores y Editores) [7], quienes intentan detener de cualquier forma la libertad cultural. Digamos que tenemos otros enemigos no reconocidos, pero ya sería entrar en camisas de once varas.
