A Confederal Assembly is a body or institution that represents the views of the people in a Confederal state. They are often, but not always, elected by democratic means.

In Context

The State of Vertosa has a Confederal Assembly. It works in tandem with the Legislative Assembly to repesent the views of the people, scrutinise legislation and hold the government to account. The Vertosan Confederal Assembly can block legislation that has passed through the Legislative Assembly and can table its own bills.

The Confederal Assembly also appoints the Overseer, who chairs the New Year Committee, which is the governing body of The Vertosan Empire.
