The Conservative Party is the main party of the centre-right in Tsumara. It is one of the oldest existing parties in Tsumara, exceeded only by the Independent Democratic Party. It tends to be the Official Opposition to the left-wing Socialist Party, and usually finish 2nd or 3rd in most elections. It has been out of government more often than not, but is still an influential voice in the political system. The Conservatives have been in the opposition since loosing the elections of 2062.
