The constitution of the Democratic Soviet Republic of Avareelia has been introduced after the successful revolution in 1929. It sometimes has been changed, most recently in August 2005.

Preamble

In greatest respect to all human beings and their eternal equality, animated by the one wish to guarantee all equality, all dignity, all peace and all justice that is possible to everyone, we, the people of the Democratic Soviet Republic of Avareelia, hereby declare the following constitution to be valid in Barusen, Birrinshuph, Hobberstein, Kirpfenberg, Kopsien, Meereland, Mohnkichen, Steeren, Strengel-Awist, Sulaht, Teinsihl and Urvonaland and therefore in the whole Democratic Soviet Republic of Avareelia as it has gained its well-deserved independence in the great revolution against oppression and exploitation. It is our one aim to establish a socialist society, based on equality and justice, offering help and solidarity, promising peace and happiness. This aim is our highest aim to which all of our aims have to subordinate.

1. The Basic Rights

1.1
The Avareelian People confesses for the Human Rights to be the first undeniable and binding basis of all human acting and laws. No law can be that either contradicts to or changes or contradicts to and changes the Human Rights and their role.

1.2
The Avareelian People confesses for the ideals of socialism to be the second undeniable and binding basis of all human acting and laws. No law can be that either contradicts to or changes or contradicts to and changes the ideals of socialism and their role.
Ideals of socialism as meant here are the equality of all human beings in all parts of their lives, international peace and the nationalization of all means of production.

1.3
All human beings are equal, no matter of their gender, origin, race, language, religion, outward appereance, sexual orientation and political or other conviction. Noone may be favoured or ijured due to one or more of these attributes.

Everyone is free to do and say whatever he wants as long as he does not directly or inderictly injure someone else. Whether someone else is injured is defined by the laws and decided by the courts.

Everyone is free to express his opinion in any way he likes as long as the way he expresses his opinion does not injure someone else.

1.6
Articles 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.7 are valid for ever and not to be changed, abolished or replaced by any other article. No law can be that contradicts to one or more of these articles.

Article 1.6 is valid for ever and not to be changed, abolished or replaced by any other article. No law can be that contradicts to article 1.6.
