The armed forces of Klonor are divided into several semi-autonomous groups referred to as 'Corps', each with a specific area of responsibility and a certain expertise.

Space Corps

Main article(s): Klonor Space Corps

Klonors first line of defense and primary means of offensive action, the Space Corps contains the majority of the personnel, equipment, and funding of the Klonor military. The Space Corps operates beyond the atmosphere of the various inhabited worlds within the Association, utilizing advanced and capable inter-stellar craft to enforce the law and maintain Klonor sovereignty. In addition, because Klonor soil is light-years from the territory of hostile alien nations, the infantry forces of Klonor are almost exclusively members of the Marine division of the Space Corps.

In common usage, "The Corps" usually refers exclusively to the Space Corps, as the other branches receive little to no exposure within the media and school systems.

Sea Corps

The smallest of the Corps, the Sea Corps is less a military division and more a police and rescue organization. Restricted to the bodies of water located on the surface of the various Associated planets, the primary duties of the Sea Corps involve patrolling the waters to insure that the primarily unoccupied territory is not being used for illegal means. Environmental protection is also a focus of the group, with search and rescue occupying the remainder of their time and manpower (The ancient art of sailing has recently seen a surge in popularity within Klonor; often with less than competent practitioners).

Unlike the Space and Temporal Corps, the Sea Corps is usually staffed solely by inhabitants of the local populace, most often Klonor citizens who wish to serve but have neither the will or means to leave their familiar surroundings. Though an object of ridicule to members of the more adventurous Space Corps, and beneath even the notice of the Temporal Corps, it is a common saying among the members of the Sea Corps that, though the Space Corps keeps the aliens out of their homes, without the Sea Corps there would be nothing to keep the aliens out of.

Temporal Corps

A seldom seen, though surprisingly important, branch of the Corps, the Temporal Corps is responsible for insuring the stability of the Universal timeline and protecting the history of Klonor. Though smaller than the Sea Corps in terms of individual members, the Temporal Corps absorbs a much larger portion of the defense budget and operates much more significant assets, including the ASJ Cronus, one of Klonors three Juggernaught class space vessels. The various vessels of the Temporal Corps are equipped with technology that surpasses even the Space Corps, shielding them from shifts in the timeline and rooting their occupants in a single historical continuity. In the event that the present of Klonor is somehow altered by actions in the past, it is the responsibility of the Temporal Corps to correct the errors and repair the damage.

Despite oft-voiced fears from members of the Klonor populace, as well as alien nations without the capability to defend themselves from temporal forces, the Temporal Corps has standing orders to not alter the timeline except in reaction to prior tampering, and then only to restore it to its original status. Fears of Universal catastrophe force even the well-being of Klonor to take a secondary status, and to a well-trained member of the Temporal Corps it is unthinkable to even consider manipulating the timeline for national or personal gains.
