The national currency of Costa Bravo, the Tortugan Credit is often referred to as simply the Credit. It was adopted in 1985 by Regent Jacques Pierot, during the Pierot-Motisse Reformations. The Costa Bravan currency prior to the Reformations was the Costa Bravan Dollar.

As of late July, 2006, the exchange rate between Tortugan Credit and USD is 1.50.
