The 'Covenant of Regions' was formed at the start of March 2005, by the founding fathers Kele, LawtonPrk (now Lawton Park) and Pheta; the founders of Neo Socialist Alliance, The Anumist Alliance 2 (now The Anumist Revolution [TAR]) and The Pacifist Greens Alliance respectively.

In the first few opening months the Covenant was very inactive, however, after two months LawtonPrk announced that it would eject PGA from the Covenant unless it gained at least six more nations in two weeks. The founder of PGA was very inexperience with recruiting, and Pheta had the support of Kele. Hence, LawtonPrk announced that TAA2 would leave instead, this lead to a heated half hour debate between the two founders, at the end of which they settled the disputes. PGA is also ironically now the most powerful member of the Covenant.

The Covenant has since expanded to contain 6 total members, and has also published a complete Charter. The memberships to the Covenant now stand as -

                                              The Anumist Revolution
                                              The Pacifist Greens Alliance
                                              Neo Socialist Alliance
                                              The Soviet Alliance
                                              Ecotopia
                                              Free Socialist

Since it's establishment, the Covenant has not had any direct involvement in inter-regional disputes (e.g. war), but it's presence has aided in preventing invasion of Covenant members.

The current axioms of the Covenant stand at -

All members of the Covenant are allied
Members of the Covenant are to aid other members
