However, because of the recent settlement of the region in 1990, it does not have its own long-standing traditions except for those imported by immigrant communities.
Geography
As generally defined, Danaan Ambara consists of the Principalities of Amory, Thorlund, Zutern, Alekthos, Amalad, Selinia, and Carasia.
Of the principalities, the two souternmost, Thorlund and Zutern, border Marlund. These principalities have a close cultural connection to northern Marlund. They contain large numbers of German speakers, are strongly Protestant in religion, and coommonly show German operas or play German music.
