Daniel Andrew Pheala , OGDM KME ODM MSc(Econ) (1943-1999) was the 37th Lord Lieutenant of the Grand Duchy of Maanenland. During his lifetime Phealan was an emminent politican known for his power of conviction and fiery oratory stlye , his books on the role of the state remain at the core of Maanenland First policy and has shaped economic policy throughout the world.

Daniel was born in 1945 to Mary and Richard Phealan the owners of a fruit processing factory in the small provincial town of Chorbury.
Phealan married Anita Ferugurson and had one child , Richard Phealan (born 1972).

Throughout his life Phealan was a prolific author on politics and particularly on economic issues the most famous of these being Maanenland 2020 , a comprehensive and detailed plan for his vision of the Duchy which he throughout his tenure as Shadow Treasurer.
As well as detailed policy documents and economic theory Phealan also produced several books on the Maanenland political system such as his authoritative text on the Maanenic constitution produced in 1982.

After Politics
Honours & Awards
Phealan recieved many awards from the crown throughout his lifetime for his service to the nation. The pinnacle of his achievements was the Order of the Grand Duchy of Maanenland , the highest civilian award which was awarded to him before his death in 1999.
His first award was recieved in 1982 recieving the Knight of the Maanenland Economy following his works on the economy and work with the supply ministry.
After resigning in 1996 Jameson was awarded the Order of the Duke of Maanenland for his service.
