Department for Security and Intelligence (Ganchelkas)

The Department for Security and Intelligence is the Ganchelkean Government Department with the responsibility of protecting the territory of the Empire of Ganchelkas from terrorist attack and responding to natural disasters. Whereas the Department of Defence is charged with military actions abroad, the Department of Homeland Security works in the civilian sphere to protect the Empire of Ganchelkas within, at, and outside its borders. Its goal is to prepare for, prevent, and respond to domestic emergencies. Additionally, the civilian security and intelligence services of Ganchelkas are also managed by the Department of Security.
