The Devil-class cyborg is a cybernetic combat unit developed as a countermeasure to the UCA's God-class by the Leninist Dynasty out of the pre-WWIII Hades-class, which was in use during the 22nd century Sino-Russian conflicts. In apperance, the Devil-class resembles a huge, black mantis.

The Devil-class relies heavily on nano-machinery for both attack and defense. Unlike it's predecessor, it does not carry offensive Chrono-type equipment, but instead has been armed with a Doomsday Missile Launcher, and a dual Hellfire launcher for firepower while undeployed. When deployed, however, the Devil switches to much more powerful weaponry. It can use the Hellraider flame cannon, a stronger version of the Comet cannon, though it lacks the latter's high ROF. In addition, it can now launch flying cybernetic drones called "Demons" from it's back. It initially carries 6 of these, but they can be replaced by nanomechanic production. The Demon drones are armed with flamethrowers (some were also fitted with small-calibe Pulse guns, taking into account that they could assimilate (see below) any soldier, but needed weapons to combat armored targets, and flamethrowers were more effective against infantry than armor), but they are mainly containers full of micro-robots. Demons attempt to infect enemy personell by entering their bodies and melding with it using the nano robots. The victim is effectively turned a cyborg, nervous functions are taken over by the Demon and the host body becomes a cybernetic slave to the Devil's remote control, which hands commands issued by dynastian commanders via control consoles to the individual slave. The whole process, known as "Posession", takes only 25 min., in which the host also grows metall plating and various weapons out of his body.

For defense, the Devil-class uses nano-robotics to repair damage done to the unit, so a heavily damaged Devil, looking like a complete wreck, can regenerate to full operational status within a few hours if it is not completely destroyed. Only few Devil-class combat units were present in the dynastic forces, since the high technology was expensive and only few production facilities inside the area controlled by the Dynasty could handle the production of such a sophisticated machine, and the production was neglected in favour of great masses of lesser, purely robotic combat units like the Gun-Unit.
