DuQuadland

The Commonwealth of Duquadland is a Socialist Republic started in 2006 by Alexander. Alexander is now the Duaw and began a Parliament and encourages voting.

DuQuadland was founded in 1254 A.D. by a former Byzantine General in exile named Lænus. Lænus began an Empire named DuQualda (changed into DuQuadland in 1275-at Lænus's death). Lænus had no children, therefore, the Empire was up for grabs. A former slave of Britain, named Jovemas, suggested that DuQuadland become a Republic. The DuQuadalese people were very fond of this idea, and Jovemas was soon elected official Duaw, or DuQuadalese president in the year 1277.

For over 300 years, Duquadland's Duaw served for life, and could veto or pass bills sent by the people and voted on by the people, but the Duaw was the supreme ruler. Jovemas's presidency began The Pax DuQuadlana which lasted 300 years.

In 1578, a corrupt politician named Lucii was elected, and he started a manditory military service, and Civil War broke out. The government was dissolved, and became conquered by Great Britain.
