Eishava is a Baranxtuan province. As one of the three metropolitan provinces, it is one of the major urban centers of the country.

Name

Eishava is derived from the city's Nidajii name Ejize, meaning eastern border. It received this name as it lay on the eastern frontier of the Nidajian settlements in modern Southern Baranxtu.

In Baranxeï, this became Eisha. The suffix -βa simply denotes "region around".

The flag of Eishava is identical with the city flag of Eisha, and was adopted as the province's flag in 2006 when it was separated from Ziaha.

The historical background of the flag is religious; it is a combination of the colors of Baranxi and Asuani, the supreme gods of the dominating Baranxtimans and Asuanituans of the city.
