Empress Angela became the first Empress to ascend the throne after the death of her father Emperor Cameron III, her reign presceded over a complete cultural rebirth throught the Empire as artists explored new mediums of art, writers translated the works of the Ambernost Empire into Old Khallaynan. But what Empress Angela reign is most famous for is the construction of the Imperial City, commisioned during her reign to replace the Oakwood Palace (which had burned down) this cultural wonder stood as a beacon of Imperial Power and splendor. Most of the Angela Imperial City was destroyed during the War of the Four Thrones but a few of the original palaces and gardens remain.

Empress Angela became known as the Beloved because she created the Empire's first organized medical treatment centers in all of the Empire's major cities, revamped the sewage systems in Amberyl (modern day Rystal), and supported the artist Reynonal i'pu Shuzzi, the master of the Fugi Art Forms, most of his paintings are owned by the Museume of Jiao History.
