En-Ur-Kish VIII. I-Moodam
King En-Ur-Kish VIII. I-Moodam was the King of Atheninyara 2939-2960 ONA (Of New Age) .He was the nephew of En-Melugabal V. I-Moodam .He had instituted the murder of Enmelugabal's three sons En-Men-Bakbal,En-Kin-Kumu and En-Anga-Kish,so as to secure the throne for himself.He ascended the throne,officialy under the regency of his aunt,Queen Elugkugaba I,who had died 9 years later.The Queen was replaced briefly by her second husband En-Mer-Kaggi,yet the regents power was all but nill. En-Ur-Kish defeated several rebelions against his reign,however in 2960 he was ousted by his lesser wife, Queen Elugbaba,who put their own,second son En-Mer-Anga-Kish IX. I-Moodam .The King was not killed,but put under house arest,living the end of his life peacfully in the section of the Royal palace entrusted to him,dying in 2964 ONA.
