Eurasiaband

Euasiaband is an old region. It was founded by Stricker a few years ago, and gradually, everyone died off from inactivity. Later, Macuna (still active) tried to recruit players to revitalize the region in RL. He was only successful in attracting an unscrupulous character, Liverwell, who went on to become an undiscovered multi. He used his multiple UN nations to overthrow the regional delegate, Bonatopia, and help Carnaga and himself come to power. He later got bored with nationstates, and his multis died off from inactivity. Eurasiaband still exists today and is ruled by Macuna, allied with Carnaga.

Update: It was a dark day in Eurasiaband. Carnaga, in his zeal of recruitment, found someone a little too powerhungry. His name was Steve. Emporer Stephen I, the manifestation of his growing interest in nationstates, seemed like a good, model member of the region. He contributed to discussions, and asked people to endorse him to make a proposal to the UN. Surprisingly, his proposal wasn't too bad for a new player. What Carnaga didn't notice was his endorsement count. (Don't even mention Macuna. He was so inactive he only got on for 10 minutes every few days to answer issues.)

Steve, it seemed, had brought new players into Eurasiaband. He also made about 10-12 puppet nations to try out the different political extremes. One particulary inactive weekend, with the help of Papa Smurf, Tangovictor, and RCC is corrupt. (RCC, he confided, was a friend's nation standing for the Roman Catholic Church.) He took power, and immediately began a reign of terror it seemed he had planned. He ejected Macuna and Carnaga. He "encouraged" people to endorse him. When Carnaga, through a puppet he had shifted UN delegacy to, tried to lead a coup, Steve noticed before the update could work its magic. Steve got on every 30 minutes. There was no way Carnaga could organize the resistance, who didn't want to play that often. The resistance tried briefly to force Steve to kick out one of his friends by endorsing them for delegate, but it never got organized.

Meanwhile, Carnaga and Macuna, along with their puppets, had been banished. Carnaga, while viewing an invader regions' rules for invading found that delegates could not ban natives longer than 2 days. He reported Steve to the mods, but in a surprise twist, Steve, smurf, and tangovictor were ejected from the UN for muliting. Vatta, a player's incarnation that had joined about the time Carnaga had, but had died off from inactivity, became delegate with 3 strong endorsements.

A day after taking power, a new nation was spotted. It was Leninsville. This nation had come from the public revolution, a region that Carnaga soon discovered was an invader hangout. These invaders were not too bright. Vatta, getting the message from Carnaga, ejected Leninsville. -- the rest of the invasion history to be updated later --
