The Holy Empire of Eyygui is a nation that resides in the Democratic Union.  The nation forms the western third of Claw Island.  Eyygui has a population of 600 million people who enjoy extensive civil rights and political freedoms.  The people are free to worship whatever they like although the nation is ruled by a Solist Angel, Islandiel.  This nation is extremely active in the Democratic Union, participating in many alliances and many wars.  The nation also consists of a large land mass on the main continent of the Democratic Union.  This was taken during a series of wars which were lead in order to expand Eyygui's colonial empire as well as cement its power in the northern seas.

The landscape of Eyygui varies dramatically.  Northern Eyygui is a wild, windswept region, broken by frequent ice storms and constantly pounded by snow.  Much of Northern Eyygui also has many mountains, which are thought to have many caves, but is mostly a frozen tundra.  Central Eyygui is famous for its rugged mountains and deep, green valleys.  Most of southern Eyygui is covered by rolling plains, laid out in a patchwork of fields and meadows.  The coastline is a shifting scene of steep cliffs, golden beaches, jagged rocks, and fishing towns tucked in sheltered bays.  Eyygui has magnificent port cities and a very modern capital city, Dalaran, snug villages and many other inland sprawling cities, Eyygui also has many universities and new factories.

The Eyyguian Channel separates the island of Eyygui from her colony in the main continent.  This narrow stretch of water has two large islands which connect mainland Eyygui and the colony.  This channel has helped shape the character and history of the Eyyguian people.  It helped protect Eyygui from invasion and gave the people a feeling of security.  In fact the country has never been invaded from the other nations of the Democratic Union.
