The Falastur Alliance is a once-bustling and great region, now depleted. This region, following its collapse, is now closed to those not ruled by Falastur, completing the new Falasturian initiative of isolationism, whereby only the nation of Falastur has any kind of strong links to any non-Falasturian country. It is unlikely Falastur Alliance will ever rise again.
History
Originating as a mock-alliance, similar to the Warsaw Pact, Falastur Alliance was first created as an alliance between Falastur and its dependencies and vassal states. During this period, Falastur was largely isolationist, and as such the alliance was less military than a formal gathering of Falasturian nations on equal terms.
The Alliance grew after around a decade of existence when several nations with strong political friendships to Falastur requested entry into it. With this move, and the subsequent following of several vassal nations of the new-comers, Falastur Alliance grew to a never-before-seen size, although it remained inwardly centred, barely ever venturing out politically. At around the same time, Falastur Alliance was joined by a small number of non-affliated nations. To this day, there is some question as to why they came, and why they stayed. At its peak, Falastur Alliance contained nearly 50 nations.
Finally, with the collapse, one by one, of these allies, Falastur Alliance slumped. A number of the dependencies of Falastur were incorporated fully into the Empire shortly after this, which weakened the Alliance to the point of destruction, and eventually, Falastur was the one remaining signatory of the Alliance. Indeed, it remained so for almost a decade, before finally being joined by a fledgling dependency of Falastur. With this arrival awakened a new desire to enlargen the Alliance, however these dreams have yet to be realised.
