The Faulkner is a stealth fighter capable of fulfilling both air superiority and limited strike roles. It was designed by the Royal Armaments Design Bureau in Britmattia. The standard Faulkner model is not suitable for carrier operations, however a carrier variant is available (at an increased price). The Faulkner is a short-to-medium range aircraft with the capability to refuel in-air.

The Faulkner is the primary multi-role aircraft of the Pantocratorian Imperial Air Service, which purchased three hundred and fifty (350) Faulkners from Britmattia in 2005, along with the rights to manufacture their own Faulkners with a per aircraft royalty charge for the next twenty years. The Faulkner is designated R-31.
