First Elder Wasterin V'i

First Elder Wasterin V'i is recognized as the Father of the Nation, and was the first true national leader for all of Aerion when he was able to finally forge cooperation between all of the 20 major tribes of Aerion, and to form the Council of Tribes composed of the leaders of all these tribes. He is idealized today as having been national, almost mythical hero, and the namesake for the Royal House of Wasterin as he was whom King Wasterin I claimed he was descended from. At earlier times he was depicted by detractors as perhaps being weak and ineffective in his old age, and thus he was killed by the great general who arose to defend the traditional tribes against the tribes who supported modernization. His death is barely mentioned in Aerion history books, only the early part of his life spent uniting the tribes of Aerion is covered mainly, and the emphasis all seems to be on the fact King Wasterin I is descended from him.
