Foxchester Raiders

History

Home of the flyboys, Foxchester was originally labelled as the 'Best team in Nova Britannicus'. This tag, however, soon made the Raiders believe their own hype and they were quickly overtaken by the Tuncastle Rovers. The pending retirements of Ellis and Manney will not help this team, as they need new players.

In Liga Starblaydia Season 3, Foxchester were sadly relegated. In response to this manager Billie Saddler sold off all his players and began again with a completely clean teamsheet.

"'Ere, I were at Foxchester when we didn't ave no pro players, and look where that gorrus. It'll work, might take a bit of time, but i'm right sure of my position 'ere. T'Chairman backs me, 'undred percent. Be reet." he said.

A silver lining, of some sorts, came when the Nova Britannicus Football Association named Foxchester as the fifth of their teams to be sent into international competition, namely the 2nd NSFA Cup. Any extra cash they could gain from this competition would allow them to rebuild the squad for a trip back to Liga Starblaydia
