Galac

The Galac (an abbreviation of "Galactic Credit") is the basis of the currencies used in the Four Worlds of Kajal, Kajal Mars, and Aelera.

Coinage is issued in GAC0.01, 0.05, 0.10, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00, and 2.00 coins. Bills are issued in denominations of 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100. The majority of currency transfers today in Kajal and Kajal Mars are electronic - Aelera has the necessary technology to facilitate electronic transfers, but still widely uses the physical coinage and bills.

The three letter abbreviation of a Standard Galac is SGC, replacing the old GAC abbreviation. Aeleran Galacs are abbreviated AGC, and Kajali Galacs KGC. Kajal Mars now uses the Kajal Mars Credit (KMC), though the currency is otherwise identical in denominations to the other variations of Galacs.
