The Gallaga Act of 1750 was first passed under High King Ian III in an attempt to curb the growing power of the East Gallaga Company of Iansisle. It took the governance of Gallaga out of the hands of the Company and gave it to the monarch as High King-Emperor. Later, under High King James I, the act was rescinded and the Company regranted its charter.

However, after the Company’s active participation in the Corporate Yoke, the Act was quickly reapplied by the provisional government. His Lordship the Earl of Furthingham became the first Viceroy of Iansislean Gallaga since the eighteenth century.
