Capitollium is in Northern Europe, bordering Aartrijke and Hathoria, and across the straits from Great Brittania. The Hathorians are thought to have invaded their Eastern realm the same time as Gunnar the Conqueror (see History of Gunnlandia), while the majority of the Gunnish racial stock is related to ancient Britons.

Trivia

  • Did you know the region known as the "East" is really the North of the country. Historians date the error back to 821 when Gunnar the Conqueror ordered several vassals to lead an overland exploration to the northern coast. The leader of the expedition, Leif Thorlaksson, named the vast land Osterobring, or 'eastern conquest'. The name stuck, and today it is still called the East, though in relation to the rest of Capitollium it is in the north.
