George I. (Norwegian; Johan I.) was king of Skatval from 1349 to 1387. He was married with Magnus I.'s daughter, Lena. George's Norwegian name was Johan, which is a German form of George. George's father was King Magnus' closest friend. George's period was a period of chaos and vanity because of the Black Death, which killed 7/10 Skatvalians. The situation stabilized in the 1360's, and George became richer than his persecutors.

George ruled until his death in 1387, and was followed by his son, Johan jr.
