Getting started in roleplay, involves the commencement of the involvment of a player of Nationstates in roleplay that generally occurs on specified sections of the Nationstates forums.

First of all when commencing in roleplaying, one should formulate the characteristics that define one's nation. What will make it unique in regards to government, the sentiment and culture of its people, etc? Of course remaining realistic in all. Furthermore, when expressing these characteristics, and in roleplaying in the main, maintaining a roleplay of descriptive text, more often than not will render it more alluring.

In regards to the flow of time, commonly is used the formula that one day in reality is the equivalent to one year in Nationstates. However in a state of belligerency, so as to facilitate and render more correct the roleplay concerned, one will customarily, substantially retard the flow of time.
