The First Reich

The First Riech began after the Complete Unification of German lands in 1,000 A.D. Golencia has sense then been a pro-found Catholic nation. They participated in the Crusades and for years sent soldiers off fighing only to suffer a painful death. The Emperor, Emperor Marcus Arrielus grew unpopular with the people, but the riches he brought back saved him from being overthrown. Althoguh little is known about the First Reich we do know it ended abrubtly after the Pope excommunicated Emperor, Marcus Arrielus II in 1294 for repeatingly beating Priests and Burning chruches to stir up "excitement". After he was overthrown the Fist Reich was nothing mor than land in French Hands.

The Second Reich

In 1492 a rebellion brewed within the old Golencian lands. The French Overlords had been prepared for this day and that is when "Bloody Wednesday" Came about. The Golencian rebels armed with Kitchen Knives, sticks, and Rocks destroyed everyone French business in town. Later French Military men showed up, the day was wednesday. With the hatred that had been brewing for years the Rebels did not disperse as ordered and engaged the Army. 145 Rebels had been slaughtered by French hands which did nohing to help the French but bring an ever more hatred for them.
