Greater Herat District

The Greater Herat District is an area of Western Afghanistan used for elections of the Governance and Social Welfare Board every eight years. It occupies the area of the Herat Province that is not assumed by the capital city, and is home to the major city of Shindand. Its current representative is Ms. Dr. Laliqa Fabalajaq.
