Grey Goo Weapons

Grey Goo is the destruction of a world's Ecosystem as it is replaced with nanorobotics. Grey Goo weapons are projected from a orbiting space vessel onto an unshielded planet. Thiry-four aggrigated diamond nanorod canisters containing nanobots are deployed. These then bury into a planet's crust. The nanobots than replicate in the ground. The orbiting ship than leaves.

Approximatly one month later or sooner if discovered, which is unlikly as the nanobots shift location as they replicate, the nanobots in a spider form emerge from the ground, they have also created energy weapons which is ued to help in the take over of a planet. Unless a planet wide EMP field is deployed the planet's assimilation into the Waterhelper Empire will take about six months.
