  • The President of Haputation set up a six day period at the end of the one month term he/she was elected to. On the first day of this six day period, the President created a post in the regional forum announcing nominations for a period of three days, along with an election period of three days to follow after nominations. At that time, those nations who wished to run for a government position will make a post in the forum stating the office that they wished to run for and a short speech there as well. At the end of the three day nomination period, the three day election period would begin. During the three day election period, nations within Haputation voted for the nations they desired in the forum topic labeled VOTES FOR GOVERNMENT OF THE MONTH. At the end of the three day election period, the votes were tallied and the officers are installed. It was the current president’s job to post the new officers under the forum topic labeled _______ GOVERNMENT. (The _____ = the current month) At this time, the duties of the old government positions were passed onto the new officers.

House of Commons

  • The House of Commons included all nations of Haputation that were not in the Government of the Month. The Vice-President headed the House of Commons, yet did not vote on any issues before it, or issues to be presented to the Government of the Month.
