Hochelaga is the second most populous province of Sober Thought and is where most francophones in the country live.

Municipalities

The capital is not surprisingly the ville de Hochelaga, respectably sized francophone city.

The provincial metropolis is currently bifurcated into the francophone Ville de Mont Royaume and the bilingual Kingsmount. One fifth of the population of Montroy (as the French city is colloquially known), mainly anglophones, seceded from the municipality. Oddly, while the Université de Mont Royaume University became part of Kingsmount, it retains its traditional name in its new municipality.

Thoughout the rest of the province there are four regional centres of similar size: Caguenai (north of Hochelaga), Gouinshau (east of Montroy), Trifleuville (between Hochelaga and Montroy), Longueoreille (south of Montroy).
