Homeland Liberation Front

The Homeland Liberation Front is an insurgency currently ongoing in Southern Mhoudia between the government which is run completely by Zanski and the Homeland Liberation Front Imperial Socialist Army (HLFISA), also known by its acronic nickname, Halfisa. It Is lead by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Majid.

Background

After the Basenjiland-New Gharrakland war of 1952-59, New Gharrakland occupied 15 of 39 Provinces of Basenjiland, calling it the South Jayirian Republic. Zanski then set up a puppet state (Republic of Jayir) in the North to esure that New Gharrakland would lose the war without Zanski being directly responsible, thus preserving Zanski's reputation. After the ROJ won, Zanski annexed the ROJ, calling it the Jayirian Autonomous Region.

In the 1960-63 Zansk civil war, General Jacob Axim occupied and (without recognition) annexed South Mhoudia and killed some 1,100 muslims in the area.

However, it was the Circum-Zansk war that gave the Mhoudians the idea of an insurgency. The Imperial Socialist (non-marxist) nation of New Nicksyllvania Invaded the northern Zaynite area in 1968, and many Mhoudian Arabs liked their ideology. New Nicksyllvania and the Kangian Zansk Monarchy fought against the communist nations of Vetaka and Wagdog, which the Mhoudians feared would restrict Islam. The Arabs were starting to think that New Nicksyllvania would invade all of Mhoudia when Communist Victory was announced and northern Mhoudia was occupied by the communist United Federation of Allied Nations (UFAN). The monarchy of Zanski also fell, although a capitalist regime was put in place under Veran Atanah.

Insurgency begins

In the Masjid-al-Deen in Khorsah, southern mhoudia, Imam Sheikh Abdullah Al-Majid convinced his students that Imperial Socialism was the way forward in a long sermon. He also talked about an "immoral annexation" of Mhoudi-Jayirian lands in the Jayirian Autonomous Region of Zanski. He also condemned the Zansk puppet regime of President Ahmad Janab.here is an excerpt from the speech:

"As-Salaam Aleikum Brothers. Today will be a great day for us. We will fight against the Zansk puppet regime that overshadows us, invades us whenever we make a step towards freedom. When you fight for me, you fight for freedom.

Today we act on the glimmer of hope that the Imperial Socialist Armies of New Nicksyllvania gave to us when he invaded the Northern part of Mhoudia, which is now occupied by the Communist forces of UFAN. When we win, I shall change the constitution so that we are known as the Imperial Socialist Free Republic of Mhoudia.

We also shall act on the Occupation and immoral annexation of what was known as the Jayirian Republic of Mhoudia, now the Jayirian autonomous region of Zanski. We recognise the inhabitation of Northern Mhoudia by people that might be descended from French Colonialists and the French language in those parts, but they do not appreciate the Racist restrictions put upon them by Zanski. The governer of the JAR has to be Zanski-born. I do not have to say any more on that matter.

As for the Zaynites, we recognise their background in the region, and once we have reclaimed it from the UFANi Commies, we will give them self rule within our country.

We will Cut off the head of President Ahmad Janab and give freedom to these opressed peoples! The Rocket raids on Mhoud will commence after midday prayers today. May Allah have mercy on you, but none on our enemies. Allahu Ackbar."
