Iluvauromeni Fashion

Iluvauromeni fashion, with regards clothes, varies quite wildy from species to species. Therefore, this article is segregated. However, these are merely generalisations, and so do not necessarily represent an accurate portrayal of all Iluvauromeni sentients.

The seperate species are listed by population size, with the largest population first.

All-Species Generalizations

It is not uncommon to see Humans of both genders wearing nothing at all - this is always an indication that they are not working, as clothing is mandatory at almost all workplaces. Special signs are a legal requirement for any workplace that does not require clothing - or prefers a lack thereof. White is a common, prevalent colour of choice among all the sentients of Iluvauromen.

Human (Local name: Atani)

Most of the Human species prefer little to nothing on top during casual hours; there is, however, generally a strict dress code for working hours, dependant on the particular area of expertise of the person in question.

Darker colours are currently in vogue; 'white collar' workers tend to wear grey, 'blue colour' workers tend to wear brown. Both sections of society consider the colour differential to be symbolic of their better working conditions.

Nenyar

Nenyar rarely bother with clothes after sundown. However, during the day they often wear robes, or tunics. They also wear Scolopendran styles, intriguingly enough, which have experienced a surge in popularity over the last year or so among the Nenyar youth.

Also popular among the Nenyar youth are traditional clothes from the Indian subcontinent.

Most popular, still, however, is nudity. Again, darker colours tend to dominate working hours; when clothes are worn in the daytime, white is the colour of choice - or near-white.

Quendi

The Quendi in the Commonality tend to follow Menelmacari trends and fashions.

Tharash

Tharash tend to wear simple clothes. They are, however, as likely to be nude as not. There do not appear to be any 'fashions' or 'trends' as such among Tharash (same when singular or plural), although the way in which certain articles of clothing are worn - particuarly chest-coverings - are often stylized among familial groups, in a manner reminiscent of what one might refer to as a 'trend'.
