Magic Sorcery has had a long standing tradition of Imperial Heritage and rule.

Today Sakura Kinimoto is the Empress of M.S.

The Kinimto Family

The Kinimoto family reing began in 1853 following the death of Hiroyuki Kobayashi. The first Mashimo to rule was Shegure Kinimoto

Shegure was announced Emperor in 1853, and his reing began the following year (which is common practice) He was however about 46 when he took the imperial headship. He had four daughters and five sons. He retired do to health leaving his son to take the throne.

Katsuya Kinimoto (1866-1900)

dark.JPG

Katsuya ruled for 34 years before dying in 1888. He was probably the most popular amongst the people, because of his compassion towards the people. He helped organize farmers tax law, so they could pay it off if there was a bad season. However, Katsuya had many mistresses. He could never stick around with anyone long enough to have children, or enjoy married life. Following his death, non of the other male heris desired the throne, because of the radical culture shift at that point. Women we're starting to go into the feild more, and the men staying home. So it went to the eldest daughter.

Michiko Kinimoto (1900-1925)

<div" class="plainlinksneverexpand">bog.jpg

Michiko was known for more than just ruling the nation. Besides the many great things she did, she also was the only sorcress to descover the Youth Elixer and use it. She wen't from 35, to 17 when she took the throne. During her rule she increased military might of M.S. and also helped many of the nations poorest people. Some have rumored that she actually robbed banks from around the world, and put them into the M.S. Treasurey. This hasn't been proven, and likely won't. She tragically died in a fire on December 7th 1914. While she was sleeping the wind blew open her windows, knocking the lantern over, starting the palace on fire. Ofically she would have been 60, but subratcing years with the Youth Elixer whe was 42.

Following her death there was a short debate about if women should still be allowed to take the throne. It was a close vote of yes. So a new leader wasn't elected untill 1916.

Flora D. Kinimoto (1925-1955)

<div" class="plainlinksneverexpand">air1.jpg
Fora D. Kinimoto
</div>

Flora was the most enviromental conscious out of all the Kinimoto family. A ruler fond of nature, she learned to controll the elements and weather. But of course because of this, she wasn't in a hurry to push M.S. into the industrial age. Fearing pollution and enviromental damage, she forbade industry to operate. Thoes who did we're severly punished. On August 12, 1930, a massive twister ripped through a small mining town in south M.S. kiling all. Empress Floright claimed responsibility for the disaster because of the enviromental impact. It was clear she was powerful, so no one dared opposed her. Despite her ocasional maliceful nature, she was very much a peaceful woman. Loving and caring for her people. Flora also had three daughters. One was severly depressed that she took her own life. The other two still remain today, and plane on competing for the Royal Crown. Her reing ended in 1955 when she died of phenumonia at age 58

Takajima Kinimoto (1955-1990)

air_ep_08_076.JPG Not much is known about Takajima. He wasn't a real people person, what ever he did, he did with little fanfare. However he is credited for pulling M.S. out of the Dark Ages, and into the industrial era. Even his death is a mystery.

Fujitaka Kinimoto, Nadeshiko Kinimoto (1990-1997)

mangacardfujinadhes.jpg

This couple are the only rulers in the nations history to be credited along side. When Fujitaka and Nadeshiko Married, and we're chosen, Fujitak insited she would be his Co-empress. While they did do many reforms in the nation, their rule was tragically short. They both died of a rare and serious illness, leaving there only daughter to take the thorone

Sakura is last of the existing Kinimoto clan. And she will likely be the last ruler of the family.

The Honda Family

The Honda Family began reign in 1803, in competition with the Li family, and the Kinimoto family.

Michiko Honda (1804-1812)

<div" class="plainlinksneverexpand">Woman.jpg

Michiko was single with 7 children to take care of when she was crowned. Her name was put into the pool by a few in the Imperial house who had met her previously. She was poor, and living in a shack. Her real desire was something along the water. But as no houses are built along the water, she decided to live on it, in a house boat. Some of her major policies was reforming the education system. She made it free and available to all citizens rich or poor. She tried to authroize water front beach houses but the Imperial House turned her porposal down.

Jea Honda (1813-1826)

Jea Honda was the oldest of the family, but didn't marry. It's been confirmed she was actually Lesbian, and despite the conservative streaks lingiring over, she wasn't afraid of it, and was chosen to be empress. In her 13 years of reign she continued some of her mothers work, and also alowed even dark magic to be performed. She died of Scarlet Fever in 1826.

Hirtoshi Honda (1827-1833)

Minitokyo%20Anime%20Wallpapers%20Tsubasa%20Reservoir%20Chronicle%5B2889%5D.jpg

Hirtoshi was 17 when he took the throne from his late sister. He was mostly about displaying M.S. Might, by building up the army, and teaching more and more complex skills to students, and rasing the bar for graduation.

Miyu Honda (1834-1839)

0561.jpg

Miyu was ultimatley the one who broke off the radical conservatives from the Mashimo era. The girl was very liberal, she changed several laws, and killed anyone in the imperial house who opposed her. She wasn't ashamed to be liberal, and some speculate she may have been bisexual. She was also daring. She was known to spontaniously go to sea in the middle of a harsh storm. Or other wise go about naked on hot days. She also never wore a kimono, and only the clothes you see in her photo. She died from a heart attack in 1838. Her epitaph read Do not mourne me, love me, cherish me, rember me.

Yoko Honda (1840-1847)

99.jpg

Yoko while not as liberal as her sister was still pretty open. Simple too. She lived in the country on a farm. She love simplicity, and open life more than the polical stage. She gave many grants to poor farmers, and helped many continue to thrive. She also made sure the beaches we're clean and safe. When her small daughter was attacked and killed by a shark she called for shark hunters to patroll the beaches. She is cleverly known as Shark Hunter Honda and virtually eliminated the sharks in the Xanadou sea. Spare the most of the coast of the former Empire of Hataria, which still have some sharks. Of course due to the threat of Sharks repopulating the sea and upsetting the balance already achived, the sharks have been magically confined to a wide costal radius of Hataria.

Toru Honda (1848-1849)

207.jpg

Toru was only in office for a year. This was due to a birth illness that constantly haunted her. She was often very sick, and tired. She gave great controbutions to medical research, including, even started looking into pasturizing, before Louis Pasture came along. The research faild, but she didn't call it a loss. Just part of science. She was also very fun loving, she started the annual Oka festival. Her body finally crashed in December of 1849.

Lokoko Honda (1850-1852)

89.jpg

Lokoko was the last of the female Hondas. She travled a lot which unfortunatley led to her being injured mulitple times by anti-witch craft groups. This also led to her death. Her objective was to get nations to enter relations with Magic Sorcery. This was largley unsucsesful. She resigned

Koji Honda (1852)

medium_ed-10.jpg

Koji was an alchemy master. He worked with metals to improve the life of thoes around him. While their wasn't much industrializing with him. Koji was also the last of Honda family. He also resigned to be with his in-laws who we're suffering a major loss. He is by far the shortest Emperor to reign.

Katsuma Family

The Katsuma Family had the shortest reign in M.S. It was taken following the death of Yukiko Mashimo.

Noriyuki Katsuma (1694-1697)

kenshin_aoshi.jpg

Lt. Noriyuki Katsuma was the first mate on the ship which carried the immigrants to M.S. Because he was the brother it helped him win. He was known to be very biased against women, and minorites, and often supressed them. Although his wife did love him dearly, as he was very protective of her. He only deemed his son to be heir to the throne, and proposed legislation that the Empire would be only male ran. Because of this, and the fact he wouldn't deem his daughter princess, she murdered him in his sleep.

Ayumi Katsuma (1695-1703)

anime_G.jpg

Ayumi was the daughter of Noriyuki. Because she wasn't deemed princess. She murdered her father in his sleep, by using a killing spell, and blamed it on a peseant farmer. Everyone took her word over the peseant, and had the peasnt executed. In her time, she improved the Royal House's methods of governing, and selecting royal famlies. In her 10 years, it was both peaceful and scary. She shared her fathers hatred for minorties, and even supressed them, and her own husband. She had a few sons, but wanted daughters, and frequently abused her husband. Her death occured on a very stormy day, which many felt was the wrath of devine spirits. It was the end of her familys reign when her son Ther daughter Kazuu Mashimo challanged the son, Kyo. Kazuu won the dule to the death, and the title was taken.

Mashimo Family

The Mashimos we're the first ruling famliy of MS. They are the most well known family, and most researched in and out of the nation.

Yukito Mashimo (1693-1694)

1130881423_f.jpg

Yukiko is truly the shortest ruler in the history of the nation, lasting for a year. This was ultimatley due to the heavy strain of creating the rocky landscape into fertial farm land for his people. Some would not brand him Emperor, because he wasn't offically named emperor, nor was he deemed by any royal comission. He did however set up the Royal House which would chose the heirs and herisses to the throne.

Kazuu Mashimo (1704-1719)

ooga.jpg

Kazuu is the first female ruler of her family. She was known for her kindness, battle spirit and her fierce conservative strings. Empress Mashimo gathered everyone in the middle of the city of Oca, and had them stacke their barrles of rum and ale. She burned them all. Kazuu delcared it "An immoral and foul drink that deteres the morality of men." Her personal diaries later indicated she was raped by her drunken father. She also outlawed tobbaco, weed and everything else. Along with her new policies, she improved the central government, and developed farms, and fishing industires. She died in 1719.

Koto Mashimo (1720-1730)

animeboy650ax.jpg

Koto is the most well known. He invented running water, long before most of the world did. He is responsible for the industrial revolutions of the nation, many long before their time. He also invented photography in color, long before mortals figured it out. Because of this, all the imperial famlies we're able to have their pictures taken.

Aoishi Mashimo (1731-1740)

aoshi04.jpg

Aoishi was just as stern as Kazuu. But he enforced it with a vengence. He made posession of anything declared immoral, would be excuted with or with out a trial. This led to a lot of famlies being black-listed, and executed. He didn't discriminate, man woman or child. He died in a sever storm at sea.

Takeru Mashimo (1741-1745)

1059785074_edtears037.jpg

Don't be fooled. He looks like a thug possesive of his wife, but he was a very sweet loving man. He removed the stains of Aoishi, and helped many famlies adjust. He gave just compensation, and modofied the constituion, making it purley illegal for any Empror or Empress to detain or execute with out a fair and just trial by a jury of their peers. He retired when his wife got sick, to take care of her.

Chii Mashimo (1746-1755)

chobits54.jpg

Chii (sometimes spelled as Chi) was a somewhat enigmatic ruler. Taking the throne at 14, she was quite timid and frightend. This led to some explotation by the Royal House, to get her to do things they wanted, for their better, more than the better of the country. Chii quikly got tired of it, and started to stand up for her self. She was also known for her extravgent balls for everybody, royal or commoner. She resigned after she married in 1755.

Mariko Mashimo (1756-1766)

chrono5.jpg

Kohh was a pacifist and perfred a stonr cental government. He also granted equal civil rights to everyone. However, he was a known practicers of demonic magic, which is now illegal. Messing with the dark forces may have brought him and the nation some misfortune. He did authorize it to be taught in schools. It may have brought his demise in 1780, but this is speculation.

Miko Mashimo (1780-1790)

1110933027_3-1238-130.jpg

Also known as the dark angel, Miko was the first to master the art of summoning wings, to fly, instead of the broom of staf. She documented her learnings, and made it mandatory in all schools. She wasn't a real goth or emo, she was a very freindly and social person.

Nagisa was the last of the Mashimo family. In her time she went over several constitutional revisions, and alterations. She kept up with the conservative tradtion, but went further to eliminate the works of Aoishi.
