She tragically died in a fire on December 7th 1914. While she was sleeping the wind blew open her windows, knocking the lantern over, starting the palace on fire. The Mashimo Family
The mashimo family reing began in 1853 following the death of Hiroyuki Kobayashi. The first Mashimo to rule was Shegure Kinimoto
- Sheugure Kinimoto (1854-1865)
