The Inquisition , (Quenya: Híraristáni) is an intitution under the Imperial Security Bureau and works in conjunction with the Committee, the Ministry of Law & Order, and the Concalve of the Faith.
The Inquistion was founded in 1982, during the First Purge, originally formed to "inquire" former Ardatomani and to see if thier loyalty truly lies with the Marduuk or were still Ardatomani sympithizers. The Inquisition was a success finding many traitors and heretics. After the end of the purge, the main duty of the Inquisition was to find Christians and those who deny, question, or renouce the divinity of the im-Bashi sovereigns.
Toward the end of the Fourth and Final Great Purge, the Inquisition had established itself as one of the major organizations for keeping the Faith and loyalty amongst the populace, and thrusly remained under the ISB, however, in 1998 the Inquisition had become large enough to form its own organ of power and has become semi-indipendet from the ISB.
