Battle over Iraq
Scene of a battle between the Atlantic Alliance and Freedom Alliance. For both parties it remains one of the most important battles in their histories. Atlantic forces entered the region on May 1, 2003 and gained control of Iraq, turning it into an Atlantic satellite region. However, they were opposed by the Freedom Alliance and the two sides fought for control of Iraq for a week.
There was a stalemate between the two sides as both sides tried to convince as many natives as possible to vote for them. At the end of the week, forces from Europe gained access (through a spy inside the AA) into Iraq and routed the AA force on the 5th of May. The battle for Iraq was happening at the peak of the AA, during which it controlled the West Pacific and various smaller regions.
