Isles of a Better World is a politically active region, specifically dealing with democracy. The membership is rather low, but the commitment to democracy is high.
History
The "founding fathers" of the Isles, as the region is often called, are Ceorana, Murkadia, and Northern Sushi. The three were first united in the now-defunct region of Territories of the Borderlands. Northern Sushi then lost favor due to censorship on the Borderlands forums, and Murkadia and Ceorana moved to Unification, where Harrissy, who had caused Northern Sushi to fall out of power, had founded a democratic region. But then Harrissy lost interest in democracy and moved to Disunification. This left Murkadia and Ceorana in a bit of a predicament that was resolved by founding and moving to the Isles. Constitution
The Constitution of the Isles is still undergoing the ratification process. An updated draft is kept on the Isles Forums.
