Short Biography
Early Life
Tinen was brought up a semi-rural area of Neudegg in the Wareton region of the country. His father was a farmer and mother was a teacher in the local primary school.
University
Tinen attended Gout State University studying Political Theory. Tinen first became interested in politics at university where he attended a guest lecture given by President Brite on Economics. This led him to join the Neudegg Treu und Wahr Social Democratic Party.
Election to Parliament
Aged 30 Tinen stood as the Parliamentary candidate for the Gout County, Wareton seat. The constituency had been held by the Neudegg Konservativer Party by a slim majority for the past 3 election.
Result
Tinen won the seat by just 106 votes.
In Parliament
President Brite become fond of Tinen as a rising star of Parliament, putting him in charge of The Department for Welfare and Social Justice after only 2 years in Parliament.
Becoming Deputy President
After the previous Deputy President decided to leave office in 1997, Tinen was selected to become the Deputy President by President Brite.

Deputy President Tinen’s time is spent working on the Government Coordination Committee which has the task of running Inter-Departmental government projects, working with the Neudegg Treu und Wahr Social Democratic Party management group and working with Socialist International in his role as President.
