Jim Southern led Andrehervia from the 14th November 1999 to the 12th August 2004 when he was overthrown by a bloody rebellion orchestrated by Nicholas Turquoise and Donald Witzenberg. When the coup ended, Turquoise had died and Witzenberg ordered the resignation of Southern, giving him the choice between that and death. Compared to Smithson's overthrow, Southern lives comfortably in his villa in Daniellia with his wife and three children after being promised safety and a comfortable pension if he resigned.
